 | | Topic: | Learning disabillities FUSION CALL for computer graphics | | | I have learned about this forum from a friend here in sweden. The thing is that I have allways had the feeling that high end computer
graphics and math education belongs together. The problem is that no one, atleast very few have researched the subject.
For about 4 months ago i met a teacher in Linköping / sweden who got very much intrested
in my ideas. I use to go with the qestion: what is wrong with a carculator? It tells the answer but not how it did it - nor any other ways.
I have a dream --- I have a dream that understanding math would be like playing with various toys, we could make it done with demographics - not making it booring.. The thing is that we now have the capabillites to do it. At least I know that this scene.org might be the answer., The thing is that the latest research from the scene of learning shows that people with learning disabillites thinks more in the artistical way - they talk more of colors and outside properties than
the nitygrity inside. Now - if there could be a way to structure math symboles with interactive
statments, and with reactive content from other users we would have alive math book that no one swears about.. and i guess - the comming genererations with appreciate that work..
I also like to put forward an idea - and that is a kind of a easy painting box for Opengl graphics for 8-16 year olds i guess that would be fun project..
