Topic:  Demos on magazine cover dvd
* Posted by r13 Tuesday 29 April 2008 - 11:50
Yesterday I've received a reply from dude working in CD-Action, a polish pc magazine about including pc demoscene stuff on a dvd cover. He accepted that, but I need to have permission from groups for publication groups' stuff on those dvds.
Few years ago there was such a place in magazine and cds for demos, done by the same dude (old polish amiga veterans might remember Sorcerer). He stopped it after quitting the scene, but after my request he gave me a chance for placing some demos etc. on CD-Action cover disks. Monthly I can bring to the dvd included to the magazine 50 mb of demoscene.
Of course I'm not taking for it any money, all copyright laws are still on the authors' side etc. CD-Action is only publicating prods.

So here's my question: which groups can give me permission for such a thing? Please reply seriously. I don't want to bring to Sorcerer any problems and the same to me. Also it would be great if someone could help me with contacting groups and asking for such a permission.

Thanks in advance.
