I am wanting to start up a project using the Synchronet bbs software on a linux box. As of now, I am quite lost on a project but because of the possibilities with Synchronet and the support it has, I feel that using that bbs / web based software will give me full potential to start up something really good.
If you are someone interested in helping / contributing with ideas, I am all ears. Please post your ideas here, like I said, I am all ears on this one. I have the server online now with it just installed to make sure it runs ok on my computer/linux distro, which it does, but I have tried toying with it abit, and have to eventually restore my machine...But like I said, I am all ears on ideas from any of you..I had ideas of a support network for n00b linux users as I have come along way since a year and a half when I first started using linux. Linux does spark interest in me. But due to what's already out there for linux support, I really don't know where to go with an idea, but I plan on generating some income off the board. I plan on sharing knowledge in the computer area on this board. Could be anything from Ms-Dos to Windows Vista, Linux or even Macintosh.
Thanks for reading, and sorry for making a long damn message.
right now the board is running as: telnet://lsn.zapto.org but the name will change based on some ideas of course and even protocol if necessary.
:: Edit Aug 29, 2009 ::
I have done some customizing to the board which looks pretty good imo, but I am looking for users..Basically, just trying to get some ideas.
