 | | Topic: | Beach Party 2011 ? | | | The question is, who wants it to happen? We do have two parties happening already in 2011, but both are around the middle of the year, so that still leaves us a reasonable gap over summer/autumn I guess.
If we are going to run it again, then this time we'll be sure to announce dates and start organising things much sooner, like this year, as announcing the party 3 weeks before the date does not really work =P
But first I think we want to see at least 5 people who are not involved in the organisation of the event to say something like "hell yeah, I'd go" before we consider running this party again.

| Just a quick note. When you say both parties are around the middle of the year.. Are you talking about flashback and Syntax?
Because I'd consider Syntax (if it's mid november date sticks) to be more an end-of-year Party, and now flashback more a midyear.
Atleast that's how I'm convincing myself that I can goto both :) (theyre about 5 months apart).
I can't really contribute anything to the thread other than that. If I attended it would be a very last minute decision dependent on heaps of things. I just wanted to clarify the point above so I keep myself convinced that Syntax/Flashback are *nearly* 6 months apart :)
