Also thanks to all the awesome people that turned up.. was a great event.
The only problem with Syntax is it's like sex, the more you have, the more you want!
Let the thanks stream in.. next yeah I'm going to start on stuff much earlier :) hah yeah right.

Who said the Oz scene is dying?? We have what it takes from all of you to prove that the scene in Oz is Alive and kicking... Oldschool and especially old school and the talent is there for newschool.. It's upto us to encourage the non active sceners to produce again and hold more parties for compos..

| Thanks guys, was an awesome day! Thx especially to the dudes I met (Rob, Chris, Dave, Scott and Toby the German! Plus everyone else)... also thanks to everyone who enjoyed my tune! I had to leave so I still don't know if it placed but it was great to see people enjoying an old 8-bit tune of mine :)

| Hey OVS. Been meaning to email ya but things been choas after Syntax (work wise). I think we can all agree that without the S!P demo there would not have been a demo compertition at all. So I raise my glass with massive respects. I personally thought it was am amazing 4k (certainly the best we've seen in Oz) and it was a very close call votes wise.
Let's hope there will be enough nuskool enteries next year for dedicated 4k and demo categories. It was always the plan to do this anyway. Cheers. | | |

| hooray for syntax, was an absolutely brilliant day. i loved the venue, cramped is the way you want to data, chatted to many a dude as i tried to get to my bag or to the bar, that i wouldn't have chatted if we were all spaced out. Of course, the mini-meme you can't take you beer outside is growing and growing, expect something next year :) Location ruled, cafe across the road must have been spewing hard :) and fuck the softbelly yo, i like my guts hard :)
Though i didn't get to meet One Volt and a few others. Next year talk to the loud obnoxious dude ya fuckers :)
If there is one criticism i have is that with all the horsie abuse by those evil midgets could be a hassle in the upcoming years, maybe a week before would be a more suitable date. But it's not going to affect me turning up of course, i can tolerate drunken women in loud revealing clothes.. for the love of data! But yeah, fuck the Melbourne cup :)

Yes! I remember that now.. wow 12 years ago :) I'd completely forgotten about that. I've just downloaded it and ran it under dosbox (20,000 cycle limit :).
Really need a better forum system.. makes it too hard to miss posts..
