Hey ppl,

I'll be coming over to sunny Brisbane somewhere in februari next year. Will there be another syntax this year in melbourne? Might be worth it to pop in and check out the ozzie scene.

Hiya Inopia... wow Aardbei. You guys released something at last Syntax If i remember correctly.. :D

Hope your trip is a great one! You'll be hitting Brisbane smack in the middle of sun season :)

By hell or high water, there most definately will be a Syntax 2008. We are gambling on it being at least a snake's tail bigger. Anything we can do in terms of putting you up for accomodation etc. we'll do our best at :)

At Syntax07 we even had someone down from Queensland... bah for the minute though I'm too drunk to remember the poor lad's name escapes me just now.... I'd have to check the list (I'm sorry!! how horrible of me! cTrix: any ideas? stupid wine after work...)

However Syntax won't be happening until July though. We also have Nullarbor over in Perth; which granted is a BIG flight; but from what I hear it's an impressive little party in a beautiful city, if you can get there.

In the meantime You might want to check out warlockame's post about North Qld; maybe it's worth posting up a post and getting other Brissy types together for a pubmeet.

Hey Inopia,

Syntax will probably happen again in June or July 2008. It is end of uni holidays at that time and usually a good wintery time to be indoors. Although it was bright sunshine last time (damn Australia hey) :-D

Brissy is a great place to be visiting. A couple of sceners are up that way and it used to have a huge Amiga scene. If you are down in Melbourne at all, be sure to let us know (just use syntax info mail) and we'll get some people together for a drinks and demos night here :-)

There is now a party - in Australia - in Feb - on a beach at the time you are visiting. Let us know if you can make it down to melbs it'd be ace to catch up.

Just missed eachother then, I was out here in Jan.. Not made it to brisbane yet..

Whats it with dutch sceners and heading to australia? Led told me he hung around here for a while aswell...
