| I'm a newbie to 'the scene', but it seems bloody brilliant. I love these so-called 'netlabels'.
However, I've a question. Are there any netlabels that offer more upbeat music? I love the ambient stuff, but I'm sometimes in the mood for something with a (very) fast pace.
| try bohema. on scene.org. (timer's mp3s are quite neat, for instance, imo). and rohformat (pub/music/groups/bmp/rohformat).
and there's plenty more. for some odd reason many of the newer/hipper netlabels concentrate on idm ebm downtempo stuff, no clue why. many older (and often less good) netlabels did do upbeat crap a lot. try /pub/music/groups.
ehh, more. azure music (trance), scientific (dnb), rno (finnish), moplayaz, language lab (dnb), fridge (all kinds). nearly all of these are dead now i think, but have many good upbeat tracks.
