 | | Topic: | Annimated Logo Splashscreen: Get started how? | | | My friend wants an "animated Logo" for his company, similar to the Dreamworks splash-screen before a movie, etc. We want to start with a simple 2D animation and go from there. He does freelance print, photography, filmography, vido-collages, interviews etc. Anything that involves Adobe CreativeSuite, I think.. I guess the intro will appear at the beginning of those videos.
I'm a software engineer. Mainly C++, some Java. I have experience in: OpenGL (mainly from NeHe tutorials), gameEngine programming (Torque), and web-programming. JavaFX is on my todo list. Been wanting to try my hand at the DemoScene for a while, so now I get my chance.
How might one approach this project? What are some good resources?
So many tools, not sure where to begin. Is the idea to build a C++/openGL executable and screen-capture a video from that somehow?
