| Has anyone taken a look at this... http://processing.org
Its a dumbed down programming language for visual artists who want to get involved with graphics programming techniques.
Before you go knocking it, I urge you to take a look through the exhibition page of the site, I have a feeling you'll be pretty surprised.
With us demo coders increasingly focused on technical aspects of demos we need to be reminded about all the cool stuff that we used to do a few years back..
Processing made me realize one thing, sure the learning curve is high to accomplish what we do.. but is it really required to make quality demos?
also, always keep this in mind... we are demo coders.. not game engine coders
