Topic:  Info on making a softsynth

I'm thinking in making a softsynth for intros. Where can I start?

Can you show me some source code, or some texts?

For a start you could check the oft linked "The workings of FR-08's Sound System" article:

Im not sure if by intro you mean 64 or 4k?
Anyway for 4k, I've been going through this recently. Here is what I found:

1. Wobbler source code is available. It has a roland 303 synth in there.
2. The author of domino (at this years bp 4k) is planning to open source his synth and if you ask nicely he can provide a preview copy.

There are other sources out there but those two gave me ideas. Good luck, honstely I'm find up with my ears melting when I try yet another failed fx.

After this Im sticking with gfx. At least your eyes dont melt when you get it wrong.
